Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing friendly, efficient service with a positive attitude.
- Stock shelves, rotate products according to freshness guidelines, and maintain attractive and organized displays.
- Ensure aisles, checkout areas, and communal spaces are clean, tidy, and free of hazards to enhance the shopping environment.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, including processing payments, providing correct change, and managing returns.
- Monitor product freshness and quality across all departments, promptly removing expired or damaged items to maintain standards.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing deliveries in the stockroom, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Support team members with various tasks, contributing to a collaborative atmosphere and ensuring smooth daily store operations.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, including food safety guidelines, to ensure a safe shopping and working environment.
- Provide carry-out service for customers as needed, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer care.
