Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport patients to and from the operating room, recovery areas, and other hospital departments as needed.
  • Assist surgical staff with patient positioning on operating tables and stretchers, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the operating rooms and surgical areas, including terminal cleaning and restocking supplies.
  • Collect and deliver medical supplies, equipment, specimens, and instruments to various departments within the surgical suite.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of surgical rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment is available and functioning correctly.
  • Respond promptly to requests from surgical team members, anticipating needs and facilitating smooth workflow.
  • Adhere strictly to all infection control policies, safety protocols, and hospital guidelines.
