As a Swimming Pool Attendant, you will be the frontline of our commitment to guest safety and satisfaction. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor pool areas diligently, enforce all safety regulations, and respond swiftly and effectively to any emergencies. Beyond safety, you’ll contribute to the overall positive atmosphere by assisting guests, answering inquiries, and ensuring the pool area remains spotless and well-maintained. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure. You will be instrumental in creating a welcoming and safe environment, regularly checking pool chemicals, cleanliness, and the functionality of safety equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Diligently monitor swimmers and pool area to prevent accidents and ensure safety.
- Enforce all pool rules and regulations firmly and courteously.
- Respond immediately and effectively to emergencies, including performing water rescues and administering first aid/CPR when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pool deck, changing rooms, and surrounding areas.
- Regularly inspect safety equipment, including rescue tubes, first-aid kits, and emergency phones, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Test pool water chemistry at regular intervals and report any deviations to management.
- Assist with setting up and taking down pool furniture, ensuring proper storage.
- Provide excellent customer service, answer guest inquiries, and address concerns politely.
- Document incidents, accidents, and any safety concerns accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with other facility staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
