Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review corporate, personal, and indirect tax returns for a varied client base.
  • Conduct thorough tax research and analysis on complex tax issues, providing clear and actionable advice.
  • Assist in tax planning strategies and identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant tax legislation and regulatory changes.
  • Liaise directly with clients and HMRC on tax-related queries and audits.
  • Support senior tax professionals with ad-hoc projects and tax advisory services.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all tax filings and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial data for tax computations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Tax Analyst or in a similar role within accounting or financial services.
  • Solid understanding of UK tax legislation (corporate, personal, VAT).
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
