Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons across the primary school curriculum, including Mathematics, English, Sesotho, Science, and Social Studies.
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of achievement.
- Differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse learning styles and needs of all students, including those with special educational needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting respect, discipline, and cooperation among students.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development workshops, and extracurricular activities as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to the overall school community.
- Prepare students for internal and national examinations, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident.
- Uphold the school's values and policies, acting as a positive role model for students.
