Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans in core primary subjects.
- Assess student learning through various methods and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting respect and cooperation among students.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and well-being.
- Participate in professional development programs, staff meetings, and school events.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into daily lessons.
- Safeguard the welfare of students and adhere to all school policies and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate student records and reports.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (Primary Education option) or P1 Certificate
- TSC (Teachers Service Commission) registration
- Minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience at the primary level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong classroom management abilities
- Proficiency in developing and implementing engaging lesson plans
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a modern, inquiry-based curriculum
