Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome patients and visitors, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and take accurate messages.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the clinic's calendar efficiently.
  • Register new patients and update existing patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and assist with basic insurance inquiries.
  • Process co-pays and payments, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Maintain patient charts and records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy (both physical and electronic).
  • Prepare patient forms and ensure they are completed correctly.
  • Manage the waiting area, keeping it tidy and comfortable for patients.
  • Assist with other administrative duties as needed to support clinic operations.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to interact kindly with diverse patient populations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
