Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues to all staff members.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Assist in the management of user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems.
- Support network connectivity, including Wi-Fi troubleshooting and basic router/switch configuration.
- Deliver basic IT training and guidance to users on new software or system functionalities and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of all IT assets and software licenses.
- Assist in the research, implementation, and deployment of new technologies and system upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and data protection guidelines.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers for specialized technical support when necessary.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Proven experience with computer hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
