As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for the precise installation of various types of tiles, contributing to the aesthetic appeal and structural integrity of diverse spaces, from modern commercial establishments to residential renovations.
We are looking for someone with an impeccable eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering superior quality finishes. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing surfaces, accurately cutting and laying tiles, and ensuring flawless grouting and sealing. This role demands a professional who can interpret blueprints, work autonomously when required, and collaborate effectively with other tradespeople to meet project timelines and specifications. We tackle a range of projects, meaning you’ll work with ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, mosaic, and specialty tiles, applying your skills to floors, walls, and intricate designs in bathrooms, kitchens, and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate primers or membranes.
- Accurately measure, cut, and shape tiles to fit spaces, including around obstacles and irregularities.
- Mix and apply mortar, adhesive, and grout according to specifications.
- Install various types of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, mosaic) on floors, walls, and other surfaces with precision.
- Ensure consistent spacing, alignment, and levelness of all installed tiles.
- Seal tiled surfaces and grout lines to protect against moisture and staining.
- Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, other trades, and clients to ensure project success.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and procedures on job sites.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Tiler or Tile Setter.
- Strong understanding of tiling techniques, materials, and tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks, including lifting and kneeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to varying project requirements.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or vocational training in tiling.
- Experience with specialized tiling applications (e.g., large format tiles, intricate patterns, wet rooms).
