Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead Tilers in preparing surfaces for tiling, including thorough cleaning, accurate leveling, and precise application of primers.
- Measure, cut, and shape various types of tiles and other flooring materials accurately using both hand and power tools.
- Mix, spread, and apply mortar, grout, and adhesives correctly and consistently.
- Lay tiles according to detailed design specifications, ensuring proper alignment, consistent spacing, and perfect level.
- Clean and maintain all tools and equipment meticulously, ensuring they are always in excellent working order.
- Safely remove old tiles and other debris from work areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Handle and transport tiling materials safely and efficiently across construction sites.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and site-specific regulations at all times.
- Support the overall project team, assisting with other construction-related duties as assigned to ensure timely project completion.
- Ensure the work area is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the entire tiling process.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures and practices.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to quality workmanship.
