Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and experienced Training and Development Officer to join our vibrant team in Chinatown, Vancouver. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across the organization.
- Design and develop engaging, innovative, and relevant training materials, including presentations, manuals, job aids, and e-learning modules.
- Deliver high-quality training sessions and workshops using various instructional techniques and formats.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and feedback, making recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with department managers to create individualized development plans for employees.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, new learning technologies, and talent development trends.
- Manage and maintain training records, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Facilitate orientation programs for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company culture.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to employees to support their professional growth.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in training and development, instructional design, or a related HR field.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging training content for diverse audiences.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
