Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Training & Development Assistant to join our vibrant team in Curepipe, Mauritius. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced Training Specialists and HR team, assisting with the entire training lifecycle – from initial needs assessment and program design support to logistical coordination and post-training evaluation. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of training programs and workshops.
  • Prepare training materials, presentations, and participant handouts.
  • Manage training logistics, including scheduling, venue setup, and participant registration.
  • Maintain accurate training records and databases, ensuring data integrity.
  • Administer pre- and post-training assessments and surveys, compiling feedback for analysis.
  • Provide administrative support to the Training and HR departments.
  • Support the research and development of new training content and methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with trainers, participants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all training activities adhere to company policies and quality standards.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (HSC).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow in the field of training and development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an administrative support role, even if unpaid or voluntary.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or training software.
  • Basic understanding of adult learning principles.
