D2L Corporation is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Remote Training Program Aide to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal remote role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of various training programs, workshops, and educational content delivery for both internal teams and external clients using our Brightspace platform. As a Remote Training Program Aide, you will serve as a central point of support for our learning and development specialists, content creators, and program managers across various departments. Your day-to-day will involve a diverse and engaging range of tasks, from meticulously preparing, formatting, and distributing training materials, presentations, and supporting documentation, to expertly managing logistical details for our numerous virtual training sessions. This includes everything from scheduling complex multi-session workshops and coordinating participant attendance to ensuring all necessary technical setups are in place and tested well in advance.

You will be a key player in managing participant registration processes, drafting and sending clear, timely communications to attendees, and tracking progress and completion rates within our learning management systems. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and updating our comprehensive training databases, resource libraries, and online learning modules, ensuring all information is current, accessible, and accurately categorized. This involves meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all program components are flawlessly organized and ready for seamless execution. Your ability to anticipate needs and proactively resolve potential logistical hurdles will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule virtual training sessions, workshops, and webinars using various online collaboration tools and our LMS.
  • Prepare, format, and distribute training materials, presentations, and documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and brand consistency.
  • Manage participant registration, communication, and attendance tracking for all training programs, responding to inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain and update training program databases, learning management systems (LMS), and digital resource libraries with precision.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to learning and development specialists, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and report generation.
  • Assist with the setup, testing, and troubleshooting of virtual classroom environments and technology prior to training delivery.
  • Gather feedback from participants and assist in compiling data and reports on program effectiveness to inform future improvements.
  • Proactively identify and resolve logistical and technical issues related to remote training delivery, escalating complex problems as needed.
  • Support the onboarding of new learners or clients by providing necessary access, introductory information, and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, including sales, customer success, and product development, to ensure training initiatives align with broader company goals.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support, program coordination, or training support role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet) and online meeting platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a meticulous eye for detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of professional, clear, and concise interaction with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, remote-first work environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or Google Workspace equivalents.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration or content management is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and handle sensitive information ethically.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education (diploma or degree) in Business Administration, Education, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience working specifically in the EdTech or software as a service (SaaS) industry.
  • Familiarity with the Brightspace platform or similar leading LMS solutions.
  • Basic understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, or training delivery best practices.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello) to track tasks and workflows.
