Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to determine their travel needs, preferences, and budget.
- Research and recommend destination options, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
- Book flights, hotels, cruises, rental cars, tours, and other travel arrangements.
- Prepare detailed itineraries, travel documents, and information packets for clients.
- Provide expert advice on travel regulations, visa requirements, vaccinations, and cultural norms.
- Handle client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service before, during, and after travel.
- Stay updated on travel industry trends, new destinations, and supplier promotions.
- Maintain accurate client records and manage bookings efficiently using our systems.
- Proactively identify and develop new client leads through networking and referrals.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a travel agent or customer service role within the travel industry.
- Exceptional knowledge of popular travel destinations, trends, and booking systems (GDS experience a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively.
- A passion for travel and a commitment to providing outstanding client experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
