Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget, offering tailored travel solutions.
- Research and book flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, tours, and other travel components using various booking systems.
- Develop detailed and engaging travel itineraries for individual and group travelers.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, visa requirements, travel insurance, currency exchange, and local customs.
- Manage and process bookings, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with clients and suppliers.
- Handle amendments, cancellations, and rebookings efficiently, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends, new destinations, and supplier offerings.
- Process payments, issue tickets, and provide clients with all necessary travel documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators set by the management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role in the travel industry.
- Excellent knowledge of domestic and international travel regulations, visa requirements, and common travel destinations.
- Proficiency in GDS (Global Distribution Systems) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo, or other major booking platforms.
- Strong sales and customer service skills with a client-centric approach.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Fluency in additional languages, particularly French or local Creole.
