Key Responsibilities
- Assist Underwriters in reviewing, analyzing, and processing insurance applications.
- Gather and verify necessary information for risk assessment, including financial data, loss histories, and policy documentation.
- Prepare detailed summaries, reports, and proposals for Underwriter review.
- Communicate effectively with brokers, agents, and internal departments to obtain missing information or clarify details.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the underwriting system.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the Underwriting team with ad-hoc administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
- Identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in applications and bring them to the attention of the Underwriter.
- Manage a pipeline of applications, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
