Job Description

Embark on an exciting journey into the world of academic research as a University Research Assistant – Entry Level with Career.zycto, supporting an upcoming project based in Miramichi, New Brunswick. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior researchers with data collection, entry, and initial analysis using various tools and software.
  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews, summarizing relevant findings and identifying gaps in existing research.
  • Maintain accurate and organized research records, including databases, spreadsheets, and physical files.
  • Prepare drafts of research reports, presentations, and publications under supervision.
  • Set up and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe and organized work environment (if applicable to research area).
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and updates on project progress.
  • Adhere strictly to research protocols, ethical guidelines, and data confidentiality policies.
  • Assist with participant recruitment and scheduling, as well as obtaining informed consent.
  • Support the compilation of research grant applications and progress reports.
