Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to identify user needs, pain points, and behaviours.
- Translate user research findings and business requirements into effective user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other designers throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency across all products.
- Iterate designs based on user feedback, data analytics, and continuous usability testing.
- Advocate for user-centred design principles and best practices across the organization.
- Effectively present and articulate design concepts, rationale, and solutions to stakeholders at various levels.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
- Ability to create compelling user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional interfaces.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with motion design and animation principles for UI.
