Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Efficiently store products in designated warehouse locations, maintaining proper organization and accessibility.
- Accurately pick and pack items for outbound shipments, adhering to order specifications and timelines.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) after proper training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, following all health and safety regulations.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to support warehouse functionality.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and record-keeping.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures diligently.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (LGCSE/COSC).
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a warehouse, retail stockroom, or similar physical labor role.
