Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties across the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect washrooms, breakrooms, and office areas to strict hygiene standards.
- Empty waste bins and manage recycling, ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers safely and effectively.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, reporting any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere to COSHH regulations and company safety policies when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks, including high-level cleaning and window cleaning where accessible.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues, hazards, or cleaning deficiencies to management.
- Maintain clear and safe walkways, removing any obstructions or spillages promptly.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to ensure cleaning activities do not disrupt operational flow.
