Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Store materials and products in designated warehouse locations using appropriate methods to maximize space and accessibility.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified), strictly following all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in reconciling any discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Assist with loading outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Report any damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or potential safety hazards immediately to a supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals and improve warehouse efficiency.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg/55 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, especially when handling inventory.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
