Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and accurately store incoming materials and products.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by adhering to 5S principles.
- Conduct inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control procedures.
- Assist in loading outbound shipments onto trucks with attention to proper weight distribution and securing of goods.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, damage to products, or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals and meet deadlines.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, especially when handling inventory and orders.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a cohesive team.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels, counting inventory, and understanding instructions.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and strict adherence to all established protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Waterbury facility for consistent night shift attendance.
