Career.zycto is on the lookout for a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk to become a pivotal part of our operations team in Innenstadt, Gießen. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Prepare and verify outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and packaging.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for optimal storage efficiency and accessibility.
  • Monitor stock levels, identify potential shortages or overstocks, and communicate findings to management.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification preferred).
  • Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and audits.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, production, and shipping departments to ensure smooth material flow.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Generate inventory reports and provide data analysis to support decision-making.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform data entry quickly and precisely.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift certification (e.g., Staplerschein).
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
  • Vocational training or a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
