Key Responsibilities

  • Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts to verify stock accuracy and integrity.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Accurately process all inbound and outbound inventory transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock to optimize warehouse space and reduce waste.
  • Generate regular inventory reports and provide insightful analysis to management regarding stock movement, trends, and accuracy.
  • Collaborate effectively with warehouse operations, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless inventory flow and meet operational demands.
  • Assist in the organization and optimization of warehouse storage layouts for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
  • Ensure all inventory handling procedures comply with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough audits of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quantity and quality match documentation and specifications.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control processes and systems.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in inventory control, warehousing, or a similar logistics role.
  • Strong proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Solid mathematical skills and strong analytical abilities for discrepancy resolution and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with various departments.
  • Physical ability to perform duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods in a warehouse setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certification in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management.
  • Forklift license (LF class) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience with specific WMS platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or HighJump.
  • Understanding of Lean principles or other continuous improvement methodologies in a warehouse context.
