Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload cargo from trucks, containers, and racks using appropriate equipment or by hand.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices or other records to ensure accuracy.
- Organize and stack goods in designated warehouse areas according to company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring aisles and work areas are clear.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation.
- Report any damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to lift and move heavy items (up to 25 kg) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels and count items.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Commitment to adhering to safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physical labor role.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Valid UAE driving license (Forklift operator certification is a strong advantage).
