Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the receiving, inspection, and proper storage of incoming goods.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to order specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies under supervision, contributing to accurate stock levels.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently after proper training and certification.
- Support the loading and unloading of trucks and containers, ensuring cargo is handled with utmost care to prevent damage.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure daily operational targets and deadlines are consistently met.
- Report any damages, defects, discrepancies, or safety issues with products, equipment, or facilities to supervisors promptly.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory movement, stock levels, and other essential warehouse documentation.
Required Skills
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to read and understand instructions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg) regularly and safely.
