Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications and deadlines.
- Verify product quantities and ensure items are free from damage before packaging.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation, ensuring accuracy for domestic and international shipments.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to all company safety policies.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and shipping targets.
- Perform general warehouse duties as required to support overall operations.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to interpret picking lists and shipping labels.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and prioritisation abilities.
- Physical fitness to lift, move, and stack products up to 20kg repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, particularly in packing or shipping.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning equipment.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a warehouse setting.
- Forklift license (reach or counterbalance) is a plus, but not essential.
