Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Full-Time Warehouse Reach Truck Operator to join our bustling team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate stand-up reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve products.
- Perform accurate put-away and picking of inventory, ensuring proper placement and scanning procedures.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying counts and inspecting for damage.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment and complete necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and other general warehouse duties as required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding operational status and any issues encountered.
Required Skills
- Valid certification for operating a Reach Truck (Stand-Up)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or distribution setting
- Strong understanding and adherence to warehouse safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operations
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or RF scanners
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional forklift certifications (e.g., counterbalance, order picker)
- Experience with various types of material handling equipment
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in a fast-paced logistics or distribution center environment.
