Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare goods for shipment according to order specifications and international shipping regulations.
- Operate forklifts (if certified) and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently for material handling.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of cargo.
- Perform meticulous quality checks on outgoing shipments to prevent errors, damages, and ensure compliance.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking, order processing, and shipment updates.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, strictly adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and general warehouse upkeep as required.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including labels, manifests, and customs forms.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a warehouse or shipping environment (at least 1 year).
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely and repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Familiarity with basic computer systems for data entry and WMS interaction.
