Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against invoices and purchase orders.
- Accurately sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Efficiently pick and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Carefully pack items for shipment, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including labels, waybills, and manifests.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and containers using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) regularly.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory checks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operational environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience with inventory management systems (IMS) or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Forklift certification (if applicable and relevant to site operations).
- Proficiency in Portuguese.
- Familiarity with local shipping regulations and procedures.
