Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications, ensuring proper labeling and documentation for outgoing shipments.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, or eventually forklifts after training and certification).
- Stage products for shipping, ensuring they are organized and ready for timely dispatch.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement and update system records.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic comprehension of written and verbal English instructions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Commitment to working safely and following all safety guidelines.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (even if informal).
