Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort and scan incoming and outgoing packages and parcels.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, following established procedures.
- Identify and report any damaged, missing, or mislabeled items to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised work area to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and operational guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks, if trained and certified.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily sorting and dispatch targets.
- Perform general warehouse duties as required to support overall operations.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling items and information.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move items up to 20kg repeatedly, and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality, especially for night and weekend shifts.
- Basic communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions carefully and precisely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operative role.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment and warehouse management systems.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety standards in a warehouse environment.
