Are you a highly motivated and experienced logistics professional with a passion for optimizing warehouse operations? Siginon Group is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our dedicated team in Voi, Taita-Taveta County. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in overseeing the daily activities of our distribution warehouse, ensuring the efficient and accurate flow of goods from receipt and storage to picking, packing, and dispatch. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of productivity, safety, and adherence to company policies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and perpetual inventory management, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization and layout to maximize efficiency and storage capacity.
  • Operate and troubleshoot Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure accurate data entry and process flow.
  • Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse operations, productivity, and inventory status.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure proper use by staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company standards.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and distribution.

  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies in a warehouse context.
  • Forklift operator certification with practical experience.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced distribution center.
