Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse associates, providing training and performance feedback.
  • Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock checks, and effective use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency and storage capacity.
  • Oversee the maintenance and proper operation of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse operations, productivity, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, transportation) to ensure smooth supply chain flow.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and supervision (minimum 3 years).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • First Aid and Safety certification.
