Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and creative Web Designer with a strong emphasis on Frontend development, User Interface (UI), and User Flow design to join our innovative team in Childwall, Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about translating complex concepts into elegant, user-friendly digital experiences. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing visually appealing and highly functional web interfaces, ensuring a seamless and intuitive journey for our users across various platforms.
In this role, you will be responsible for the entire UI/UX design lifecycle, from conceptualization and wireframing to high-fidelity mockups and frontend implementation. You will work closely with product managers, backend developers, and marketing teams to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints. Your expertise will drive the visual language and interactive elements of our web applications, ensuring brand consistency and an exceptional user experience. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for web applications and digital products.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Ensure consistency across all digital platforms, adhering to brand guidelines and design systems.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the design and development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Optimize web designs for maximum speed and scalability.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first approach.
- Expertise in UI/UX software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Proven ability to create wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful web design and frontend development projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
