Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the physical setup and breakdown of wedding venues, including tables, chairs, decorations, lighting, and sound equipment, according to event specifications and layouts.
- Support the Wedding Coordinator and other event staff during ceremonies and receptions, anticipating needs and proactively addressing any issues.
- Ensure all event areas are clean, tidy, and perfectly prepared before, during, and after wedding events.
- Help with guest direction, seating arrangements, and general guest assistance to ensure a smooth flow of the event.
- Liaise with various resort departments, including Food & Beverage, housekeeping, and maintenance, to ensure all event requirements are met efficiently.
- Transport materials and equipment between different event locations within the resort premises safely and effectively.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests, always maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Learn and adhere to all resort policies, safety regulations, and service standards to ensure a safe and high-quality environment.
- Participate in pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings to ensure continuous improvement and share insights.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Wedding Coordinator or resort management to ensure the successful execution of events and guest satisfaction.

- High level of physical stamina and ability to lift and move event equipment (up to 20kg).

- A genuine passion for service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role (even if not event-specific).
- Basic understanding of event logistics or decor principles.
- Proficiency in Swahili and English; knowledge of other international languages is a plus.
- Diploma or certificate in Hospitality, Tourism, or Event Management is an advantage.
- First Aid certification is considered a bonus.
