Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport goods to designated locations within Fleurimont and surrounding Sherbrooke areas.
- Adhere strictly to assigned delivery schedules and routes.
- Verify order accuracy and collect payments/signatures as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good operating condition of the delivery vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing our partners professionally.
- Navigate routes using GPS and local knowledge to ensure timely arrival.
- Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring their integrity.
- Report any delivery issues, vehicle concerns, or customer feedback promptly.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license in Quebec with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 6 months of professional driving experience.
- Excellent navigation and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg).
- Reliability and punctuality are paramount.
- Comfortable working independently and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with the Fleurimont/Sherbrooke area street network.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle (if company vehicle not provided/preferred).
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
