Key Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and utensils.
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing machinery, ensuring all dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Support inventory management by receiving, storing, and organizing deliveries according to health and safety standards.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling appropriately and efficiently.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, walls, and common areas at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations strictly to ensure a safe environment.
  • Assist with plating and presentation as directed by culinary staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.
