Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waxing floors in all designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Empty waste bins and transport trash and recycling to appropriate disposal areas.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to management.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage to facility management.
- Ensure all areas are locked and secured at the end of the shift.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners, floor buffers).
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
