Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced welders and technicians in daily fabrication, repair, and maintenance tasks.
- Learn and apply various welding processes (e.g., Arc, MIG, TIG) under close supervision.
- Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform routine inspection and quality checks on welded joints.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall workshop cleanliness.
- Actively participate in training sessions and mentorship programs to enhance welding proficiency.
- Handle and move materials and finished products as required.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
- Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and meticulously.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting (up to 25kg), and standing for extended periods.
