Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all required wildfire suppression training programs and drills.
- Respond rapidly and effectively to wildfire incidents as part of a designated crew.
- Engage in direct fire suppression activities using hand tools, power tools, and water delivery systems.
- Construct and maintain fire breaks and other fuel reduction measures.
- Operate and maintain specialized firefighting equipment and vehicles safely.
- Conduct patrols and monitor fire behavior and weather conditions.
- Assist in mop-up and rehabilitation efforts post-fire suppression.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and incident command system guidelines.
- Maintain high levels of physical fitness and readiness for deployment.
- Collaborate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and other emergency personnel.
