Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-rise window cleaning using various methods, including rope access (abseiling), cradles, water-fed poles, and cherry pickers, as required by site specifications.
- Conduct thorough pre-site inspections of equipment, anchor points, and work areas to ensure absolute safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Strictly adhere to all health and safety guidelines, company policies, and site-specific protocols for working at height and using specialized equipment.
- Ensure all glass surfaces, frames, and sills are cleaned to a streak-free, immaculate standard.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment in excellent working condition, reporting any faults or damage promptly.
- Work effectively and collaboratively as part of a cleaning team, communicating clearly with colleagues, supervisors, and client representatives.
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes, adapting to unforeseen circumstances like weather changes.
- Represent Career.zycto and our clients with professionalism and courtesy at all times.
- Assist with other general building exterior maintenance tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in high-rise window cleaning.
- Current and valid IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) Level 1 certification (or higher).
- Comprehensive understanding and strict adherence to health and safety legislation for working at height.
- Exceptional physical fitness and stamina, with no fear of heights.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a flawless finish.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- IRATA Level 2 or Level 3 certification.
- IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) or PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' & Manufacturers' Association) certification.
- Valid First Aid at Work certification.
- Full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Experience with specialized facade cleaning techniques and materials.
- CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
