Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality window cleaning on commercial and residential buildings, including multi-story and high-rise structures, using various methods such as rope access, water-fed pole systems, and cradle access.
  • Conduct thorough safety checks on all equipment, including ropes, harnesses, anchors, and platforms, before and after each job.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and site-specific protocols for working at height.
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment and tools in excellent working order, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
  • Work efficiently and effectively, meeting scheduled deadlines and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, site managers, and team members, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, including job sheets, safety checklists, and incident reports.
  • Assist with ground-level cleaning tasks or other general cleaning duties as required.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in high-rise window cleaning (minimum 2 years).
  • Valid IRATA Level 1 (or higher) or FASET Rope Access Technician certification.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to working at height.
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to work in challenging outdoor conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid UK driving license.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • Experience with various window cleaning techniques (e.g., pure water systems, traditional methods).
  • Previous experience working on heritage or luxury commercial properties.
