Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Work from Home Social Media Engagement Monitor to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be the eyes and ears of Al Hamra Group across various social media platforms, ensuring our online presence is positive, engaging, and reflective of our brand values. You will be responsible for meticulously tracking conversations, mentions, and sentiment related to our diverse portfolio of properties, developments, and services. This role demands a proactive individual who can identify emerging trends, potential issues, and opportunities for engagement in real-time. You will work independently to gather insights, categorize feedback, and prepare comprehensive reports that will directly inform our marketing and customer service strategies. While primarily a monitoring role, there may be instances requiring light interaction or escalation of specific queries to the relevant departments. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TripAdvisor, Google Reviews) for mentions, comments, reviews, and discussions related to Al Hamra Group, its properties, and brands.
- Identify and track brand sentiment, emerging trends, and key conversations impacting our reputation and brand perception.
- Categorize and tag social media mentions (e.g., positive, negative, neutral, customer service query, sales lead, general feedback).
- Escalate critical issues, negative feedback, or potential crises to the appropriate internal teams (e.g., PR, Customer Service, Marketing) in a timely manner.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports summarizing social media activity, engagement metrics, sentiment analysis, and key insights.
- Support the marketing team by identifying opportunities for proactive engagement or content creation based on monitored trends.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Al Hamra Group's offerings, values, and brand guidelines to accurately assess social media content.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and social media best practices during all monitoring and limited interaction activities.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, platform changes, and monitoring tools.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in social media monitoring, community management, or a related digital marketing role.
- Excellent understanding of major social media platforms, their functionalities, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in tracking and reporting.
- Proficient in using social media monitoring tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Brandwatch – or similar).
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain productivity in a remote setting.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience working with hospitality, real estate, or leisure brands.
- Proficiency in Arabic (written and spoken) is a significant advantage.
