Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and experienced WorkCover Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Haidhausen, Munich. This full-time, on-site role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and compliant management of all work-related injury and illness claims, providing essential support to our employees throughout their recovery and return-to-work processes. Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end workers' compensation claims, from initial notification to claim closure, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted within required timelines.
- Act as the primary liaison between injured employees, medical providers, insurers, legal representatives, and relevant government agencies (e.g., Berufsgenossenschaften).
- Develop, implement, and monitor return-to-work plans in collaboration with employees, managers, and medical professionals, focusing on safe and sustainable reintegration.
- Provide expert advice and support to employees and managers regarding workers' compensation policies, procedures, and statutory obligations.
- Maintain meticulous records of all claims activities, communications, and outcomes in line with data protection regulations and company policy.
- Conduct regular reviews of claims to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training and awareness programs related to occupational health and safety, injury prevention, and claims management.
- Stay current with changes in German occupational health and safety legislation and social security laws to ensure continuous compliance.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation, claims management, or a similar occupational health role, preferably within Germany.
- Demonstrable knowledge of German occupational health and safety laws (Arbeitsschutzgesetz) and social security legislation (SGB VII).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fluent in German and English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
