Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport SKOL Brewery Ltd products to designated locations within Ngoma and the Eastern Province.
- Adhere strictly to assigned delivery schedules and routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Collect payments from customers as required and reconcile daily transactions.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Comply with all traffic laws, company safety policies, and transportation regulations.
- Collaborate with the logistics and sales teams to optimize delivery processes and resolve issues.
- Represent SKOL Brewery Ltd positively in all interactions with customers and the public.
Required Skills
- Valid Rwandan Driving License (Category B/C preferred) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in safe driving practices
- Strong navigation and route planning skills, particularly within Ngoma and Eastern Province
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
- Basic numeracy for handling cash and delivery manifests
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of professional delivery driving experience
- Familiarity with the geography and routes of Ngoma District and Eastern Province
- Proficiency in Kinyarwanda and working knowledge of English
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance
- Experience in the beverage or FMCG distribution industry
