Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our vibrant team in St Pierre, Moka District. This pivotal role is central to the seamless flow of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that both raw materials and finished goods are handled with precision and care. As a Warehouse Clerk, you will be instrumental in the packaging and preparation of our high-quality apparel for dispatch, playing a crucial part in our supply chain from the moment goods arrive at our facility until they are ready for their global journey. Your daily activities will encompass receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, accurately picking and packing orders, and diligently preparing items for delivery, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and identifying any discrepancies or damages.
- Efficiently sort, label, and store raw materials and finished products in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform accurate picking and packing of orders according to picking lists and packaging specifications, preparing them for dispatch.
- Prepare delivery documentation, including waybills, packing lists, and other required paperwork.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently (forklift operation if certified).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels in the system.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Collaborate effectively with production, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to the supervisor promptly.
Required Skills
- Proven physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 25 kg) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, particularly in picking, packing, and inventory management.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels, counting stock, and completing documentation.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to adhering to safety procedures and company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1+ year) in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Valid driver's license (manual) with a clean driving record.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and using inventory management software.
- Forklift operator certification and experience (desirable but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
