Key Responsibilities
- Actively scout, research, and evaluate emerging artists from diverse genres within the local and regional music scenes.
- Attend live performances, showcases, open mic nights, and industry events to identify promising talent.
- Cultivate and maintain a robust network of contacts, including artists, managers, producers, songwriters, promoters, and venue owners.
- Analyze artist demos, online presence (social media, streaming platforms), and live performance quality to assess potential.
- Prepare detailed artist reports, including market analysis, competitive landscape, and potential for commercial viability.
- Negotiate and facilitate artist signing deals, working in conjunction with legal and business affairs teams.
- Provide creative direction and support to signed artists, guiding their artistic development and project execution.
