Career.zycto is seeking an exceptional and visionary Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent strategy in Marondera, Mashonaland East Province. As our Director of L&D, you will be responsible for creating a robust learning ecosystem that supports career progression, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. You will assess current and future training needs, develop engaging curricula, and manage resources to deliver impactful learning experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, strategic Learning & Development framework aligned with organizational goals and future workforce needs.
- Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across all departments.
- Design, develop, and implement innovative learning programs, workshops, and resources, including e-learning modules, blended learning approaches, and leadership development programs.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
- Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum impact of all initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing L&D team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence.
- Establish metrics and evaluation methodologies to measure the effectiveness and ROI of L&D programs, reporting on progress and making data-driven adjustments.
- Collaborate with HR and senior leadership to integrate L&D initiatives with broader talent management strategies, including performance management and succession planning.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging learning technologies, and adult learning theories to ensure Career.zycto remains at the forefront of talent development.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.
