Career.zycto is actively seeking a visionary and results-driven Learning & Development Manager to join our growing team in Swansea, Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the strategic design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive learning programs that align with our organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement. As our Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for creating a flexible and inclusive learning environment, embracing a hybrid work model that balances collaborative in-person engagement with the convenience of remote work. You will have the autonomy to introduce modern learning methodologies, leverage technology to enhance delivery, and measure the effectiveness of all L&D initiatives to ensure a measurable return on investment. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive learning strategies and programs aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and determine appropriate learning solutions for all levels of employees.
  • Manage the end-to-end learning cycle, from content creation and curriculum development to program delivery and evaluation.
  • Utilize a blended learning approach, incorporating e-learning, workshops, coaching, mentoring, and other innovative methodologies.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using relevant metrics and feedback, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
  • Oversee the selection and management of external training vendors and resources.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and department heads to support talent development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of L&D trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our programs remain cutting-edge and effective.
  • Manage the L&D budget and resources efficiently.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing successful training programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design, and blended learning methodologies.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess program effectiveness and ROI.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across all levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Certification in Instructional Design (e.g., CPTD, ATD credentials) or change management.
  • Experience with leadership development programs and executive coaching.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and their integration with L&D platforms.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic professional services environment.
